While no one exercise is better than another, combing movement patterns can be an excellent way to challenge your entire nervous system. One of my new favorite exercises is a TRX push-up with alternating hip flexion. This movement challenges many of your bio-motor abilities including: strength, balance, anaerobic endurance, and flexibility. Try 3 sets of 45-60 seconds the next time you workout and let me know what you think.
